European Applications can cover 38 countries from 1 October 2010.

Serbia, the 38th country, is contracting to the European Patent Convention, i.e. the system governing European Patent Applications, as from 1st October 2010.

 

European Patents can also be extended to a further 2 countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
